Family and Friends!

We’ve had a very busy year here. I think I’ve worked on around a dozen feature films (in both English and French, both widescreen, huge-budget and smaller indie films, and both acting and as crew) and recorded and released various singles and an EP of cover songs - Secret Covers Volume 2. 

And now I’m here to tell you I have a new BOOK that represents my new album. The book is called This Mad Desire | Passing Lanes of Fate: The Stories Behind The Songs. This book provides the stories behind the songs on the album and serves as the expanded liner notes. In this age of streaming, a lot of this information is lost but somehow here it is found.

The way this works is if you buy it, you get the audio now before it all lands on streaming services -which pay me next to nothing. You get the artwork, the stories, the lyrics, and bios on the many, many musicians that contributed to this project over the past few years and you get to keep the fun times listening and reading! 

I’ll eventually release it to streaming but for now this is how you get all the behind-the-scenes.

The album Passing Lanes of Fate features long-time drummer Dan Konopka from Grammy Award-winning U.S. band OK Go (up for TWO Grammys right now!), and guest appearances by Toronto Symphony Orchestra violinist Leslie Dawn Knowles, banjo player Sarah Tolle, award-winning singer Jessica Magoch, producer Chris Birkett (producer of Sinead O’Connor’s #1 worldwide hit Nothing Compares 2 U), and many more.

Generally speaking, there are musicians from across Canada, the United States, and even Europe on this one. Every single song had a whole different path towards creation and I’m very excited to share this with all of you.

Our latest track, Paradise, is actually the final song on the album and features Dan Konopka, Jessica Magoch, Sarah Tolle, and Jaye Marsh with production from Chris Birkett. Artwork for the single is from Mische Christie, a very talented artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. And of course, we have T-shirts, bags, and prints HERE.
