Friends, Family, and Co-Conspirators!
Hope the New Year is finding most of you in good circumstances. Although we are concerned about a great many causes across the world from the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, we have a special crisis here in North America vis-a-vis the current California fires. I'll get to that.
READY FOR THE WEEKEND (SEE SEE BEATS REMIX)

My friend Marcus Manderson aka Da Fingaz was my co-writer on the original track. He's based in Washington, DC, and I'm based in Hamilton/Toronto, Canada. We were able to get loads of people across Canada and the USA to sing, add sax, live drums, and so on.
My friend Cas Weinbren aka See See Beats in New York City has created a fun remix of the tune.
Cas is a billion-streaming artist from New York City. He collaborates with anyone and everyone and wrote songs and music for the international Disney smash musical Zombies 3 (among so many other cool things).
Although the remix will be available on streaming services Friday, January 17, 2025, we are making it available now for purchase NOW and includes the original track.
Until the end of January, 50% of the proceeds from this release or anything from the TMD catalogue will be donated to MusiCares in the USA who are providing help and resources for musicians impacted by the California Wildfires in Los Angeles.

As many of you are aware, given that I work in both music and film, I have many friends and associates in the Los Angeles area as many of you do too. With that in mind, here are some specific resources you can share with anyone you know who might be affected in California.
And also let's pray for rain.
FILM: http://iatse.net/disasterresponse/
Also Local 80 has opened up their stage in Burbank for shelter/relief.
MUSIC: The aforementioned MusiCares is offering immediate $1500 financial assistance and $500 food vouchers. To apply, call 1-800-687-4227 or email musicaresrelief@musicares.org
A really interesting spreadsheet that I heard about from OK Go this morning (and remember their drummer Dan Konopka does so much drumming on my songs including Ready For The Weekend) is this one: http://tinyurl.com/lafiremutualaid
That one lists all sorts of places to find help in the LA area from food, shelter, animal shelter, free stuff, and beyond. It is not exhaustive and is being continuously updated.
Keep it real, everyone! Operators Are Standing By.
