Hearts and flowers, everyone. Regardless of your relationship status and your perspective on Valentine's, I always go all in on the theme because love is a great message to spread. A few years ago, I recorded this track Brand New Love and released it in 2023 as part of my Secret Covers V1 release. 

The song is written by Lou Barlow and I first heard it on Sebadoh's Smash Your Head On The Punk Rock. The song always stuck with me because I liked the hopeful notion that love might be around any corner. 

I played and produced everything at the Hamilton Public Library except for the voices at the beginning which are various friends from Canada and the US. The one voice is speaking actual wedding vows!
