CHRIS BIRKETT & THIS MAD DESIRE Live at the Mule Spinner
Saturday, October 24, 7pm
The Mule Spinner, 11 Landsdowne Ave. Hamilton, Ontario.
Get ready for an unforgettable in-person gig featuring the incredible sounds of Chris Birkett (producer -Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U) alongside the artful vibes of THIS MAD DESIRE. Join us at the Mule Spinner for a night packed with great music and good times. Bring your friends, grab a drink, and soak in the live magic!
INSIDER’S NOTE: This event will be filmed for future use. You may want to think of it more like a filming event that you are invited to. And it’s live music, baby! No AI there. Nothing up our sleeves. Just fingers, strings, keys, sticks, skins, and voice. We’ll be doing a “weird thing with the air” as Tom Waits has explained is our art and our passion.
Opening the show will be Hamilton-based roots and blues artist Nicole Christian. In her own words, “I'm a local gal raised on the other side of the Ontario pond; a country kid picking my way through the bones of urban landscape. I've been trying to piece together a home in my music, word by word, and I've got some new fragments to share.”
Chris and I are looking forward to presenting a unique format where he will play guitar on some of my songs and THIS MAD DESIRE will back him up on some of his. We've never done this before so we'll be making music history!
Chris has been lending his production talents to some of my recent songs including California Dreamin': BUY DIRECT |BANDCAMP | SOUNDCLOUD | STREAM ANYWHERE

Looking forward to seeing you there. Please note that if finances are an obstacle, I've set aside a few tickets for people. Reach out and we'll try to accommodate.
